Reverse arborescence and metamaps

Wonderful image by Luc Perrot taken in Reunion Island and posted by the Nasa apod site, which I can recommend you use as your browser opening page because you get a new and gorgeous astronmical image every day.  Instead of our mind mapping centralized arborescence, we have many arborescences converging on a galactic center.  I believe this may have potential as a visual metaphor to create meta-maps…
