Eric Heller teaches physics and chemistry at Harvard, but he's also an artist. This fortunate man uses his profound knowledge of what's going on at the atomic level and his talent for graphics to give us a glimpse of that invisible reality, modeling particles, waves, and the mysteries of quantum mechanics.
"I really am trying to reach the public and get them interested in science," Heller said. "If you could get someone and draw them in for aesthetic reasons and they ask, 'What is this?', then you got them." (Harvard Gazette)
